NEW DELHI: Some academics and women activists today filed by a DU employee complaints of sexual harassment against him, citing an eight-year-old for the position of Chancellor of the University of Delhi University Professor Bidyut Chakraborty candidacy petition against the President filed.
JNU, DU and academics, women’s organizations, along with several allegations of sexual harassment against Mr Chakrabarty, an employee of the building is used by Gandhi in 2007 and the VC should be considered for the position that is not.
DU group claimed that the sexual harassment committee had found him guilty and he was Director and Head of Gandhi Bhavan, Political Science Department was asked to resign, while Mr. Chakravarty of the University during the period deputation demanded denied the allegations, saying the two overseas assignments in Germany and the US to take up.
“The visitor of JNU on October 8, 2015 to the Executive Council has appointed Professor Bidyut Chakrabarty and his name is now a candidate for the prestigious position of chancellor of the University of Delhi as the features shocking.
“The university’s highest committee in 2010, he was found guilty and he also for a period of three years at DU to hold any administrative post was denied. Gandhi Bhavan Director and Head, Department of Political Science at the post was removed, “the petition said.
“Any member of the Chancellor or the Executive Council on gender equality should be a sterling record. These positions have an active implementation of the law against sexual harassment at workplace sexual harassment cases, recognizing that include gender-only regime sought to create policies, “it added.
