Raja Ramana Centre for Advanced Technology Laser, particle accelerators and related technologies in the fields of non-nuclear front line research engaged in research and development of nuclear power, India, is a unit of the department.

History
February 19, 1984 the then President of India, Gyani Jail Singh, laid the foundation stone of the heart. Laboratories and construction of houses began in May 1984.In June 1986, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, the first batch of scientists and scientific activities RRCAT moved commenced. Since then, the center fast laser, accelerator and their applications in the field of research and development has grown into a major institution. Basically it as Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology in December 2005 was named by the Prime Minister of India, called the Center for Advanced Technology.

  1. RRCAT to host Natl Laser Symposium this year –

    24th National Laser Symposium (NLS) from December 2 to 5. Advanced Technology (RRCAT) Raja Ramana Centre for prestigious seminar will be organised jointly by the Indian Laser Association RRCAT organised and by the Board of Research in Nuclear will be sponsored science, DAE.

    NLS with eminent scientists in the field to communicate with each other and network, laser physics, technology and applications in the region aims to create a platform for researchers.

    Seminar PhD student poster presentation of papers contributed by leading experts invited talk, and thesis presentation will cover. Indian Laser Association will conduct short courses before the seminar. RRCAT all scientists engaged in basic, engineers and students invited to participate in the seminar, laser and related fields is applied to broad areas of research.

    NLS-24 may be the subject of Laser Physics and Technology; Nuclear science and technology in the laser; Laser materials, accessories and components; Nonlinear, quantum and atom optics; Etc. ultrafast laser and application

    Abstracts and the CD of the book will be published with ISBN 978-81-903321-6-3. “Best Thesis Award”, based on the work of invited talks, “Best Paper Award” selected papers, and articles ray, ELA will be published in newspapers.

    ILA short courses and exhibition

    RRCAT on December 1 – Indian Laser Association (ILA), co-organizer of -24 NLS, short tutorial courses will be held on November 30. Ela will announce details of these courses separately. ILA also “Best thesis” and “Best Poster” award will provide for presentations. ELA’s Annual General Meeting will be held in the RRCAT. ILA during the NLS-24 laser and related products will be an industrial exhibition
