Eligibility Criteria for UBI’s Specialist Officer

The basic requirements to become eligible for this vacancy depends on various different factors like nationality, educational qualification and the age, all the points are listed below so please go through them thoroughly before submitting the application form.

(A) Nationality/Citizenship
An applicant must be :-

  1. A citizen of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal or
  3. A subject of Bhutan or
  4. A Tibetan refugee, who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention to permanently settling here in India or
  5. A person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan/Bhutan/Sri Lanka/East African Countries of Kenya/Uganda/the United Republic of Tanzania/Zambia/Malawi/Zaire/Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note* – A candidate belonging to categories 2/3/4 & 5 as above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India before the date of this notification i.e before the 13/02/2015.

(B) Age, Education & Experience

Postcode 01: Vacancy for 11 Forex Officers

Age

Minimum – 20 Years
Maximum – 30 Years

Education

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a University/Institution/Board Recognized by Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory bodies.
  2. Post Graduate Diploma in International Banking from a University/Institution/Board Recognized by Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory bodies.

    Or

    MBA with specialization in International Banking from an University/Institution/Board Recognized by Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory bodies.

  3. Literacy in Computer operations and word processing/computer skills supported by certificate from a recognized institute.

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in Forex Department/Trade Finance Department in a Public Sector Bank/Private Sector Bank/Financial Institution/Listed Corporate.

Postcode 02: Vacancy for 36 Forex Officers

Age

Minimum – 20 Years
Maximum – 30 Years

Education

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a University/Institution/Board Recognized by Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory bodies.
