  1. Essar appoints Jayantha Prabhu as group CIO – Jayantha Prabhu has been elevated to the position of the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Essar.

    Diamond Power Infra bags order worth 44 cr from Powergrid * Diamond Power Infrastructure today said that it has bagged order worth Rs 44 crore from Powergrid NM Transmission for supply of conductors.
    Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE about the receipt of the Order from Powergrid NM Transmission Ltd for the supply of Conductors for 765 kV S/C (Quad Bersimic) Salem – Madhugiri Transmission Line associated with Nagapattinam Project under TBCB route vide award amounting to Rs 44 crore, the company said.

    * Private sector Reliance Life Insurance today announced the launch of non-unit linked ‘Lifelong Savings Plan’.

    The plan is a non-linked, endowment-cum-whole life plan aimed to offer goal based saving and protection to policy holders, the company said in a statement.
